Online learning changes the way student of different types and age communicate and access valuable information. Its effect mostly relies on both the student and the learning institution creating the change. A well planned private course can develop new worlds of learning for students mostly in online middle schools.
Online learning may reduce the cost for students and institution alike. Students can save money on gas and other travel expenses while acquiring a full-time job which may not be possible in a traditional school.
For students with crippling social anxiety, a screen demarcating them from others will be a huge relief. Some students may have opposite reaction, however, if the lack the knowledge of computer and internet. Online learning facilitates and promotes discussion while respecting all of its students. Because teachers do not see the reactions from students, they do not get the urgent feedback; they must tread carefully with touchy subjects and keep the interaction focused
If planned properly, online schooling may increase effectiveness and course productivity. To supplement teaching, instructors can make available, tools that promote discussion and active participation. Students with different learning styles can reach out to more easily through online learning. For instance, an audio lecture can be posted for those that best learn by listening, photos, videos and diagrams for those that learn through seeing and interactive games for those that learn by doing (psychomotor domain).
Online learning makes education accessible by different types of people. A good example is the rural areas in which resources may be tight or hard to come by; online courses now come to the rescue because I tend to broaden the scope of learning for the kids present in these locations.
In conclusion, the online course makes learning fun and easier, especially for students with disabilities who have already given up on education.
